Listen the recording again and take notes.
Then join into groups to recreate the text from your notes. Ss do not have to
use exactly the same words but writing must have the same meaning and be
accurate.
Then one S reads the whole text others
check their writing. While reading, complete this description with the correct
words and phrases in the box:
(background left-hand side looks like seems
to be there are there is)
Text is on the screen.
In the

used with uncountable

Looks like and seems to be (very similar meanings but looks like is followed by a
noun/noun phrase)

choose one from Task 1 or those you talked about at Art Culture lessons. Use
words and
expressions from this lesson.

Task 3. In pairs make your own top five lists

You could write your top five songs (or
films etc.) on the poster to demonstrate

Summing-up
It’s almost
the end, that’s why I’d like to come back to the outcomes of our lesson. Let’s
comment on what we know now and what we can do after this lesson.
|
Students read the lesson goals and say what new
information they got to know during the lesson, what knowledge they can use in
everyday life.
Brilliant. I hope you can do everything you’ve
said. The only thing left is your home task, which is to write your own
description of a painting. The optional home task up to you is to find a video
in the internet (YouTube) about 10 most expensive paintings and be ready to
comment on it at the next lesson.
The home task is written on the
blackboard. Students put it down in their day-books.
Thank you
all very much. You’ve done a good job today. Your marks will be ........ for
........ because.
The teacher comments (motivates)
students’ marks.
Thank you and good-bye!
